The ICADP is a volunteer organization. Its continued presence in Illinois as a force for abolition of the death penalty depends upon the contributions, of both money and time, of its members, friends and supporters.
Your membership includes a subscription to a quarterly newsletter and updates on events. Additional financial contributions help support our work and supplement fund-raising efforts.
Membership dues are $40 for individuals, $20 for student/low income and $150 for an organization.

There are countless ways for dedicated people to help bring out about the abolition of the death penalty in Illinois. The following list contains some of the numerous ways volunteers can help end the death penalty.
Write to your legislator
A great way to help abolish the death penalty is to write a letter tp your elected state officials to tell them how you feel about the death penalty and to let them know that you support the abolition of the death penalty.
To find out who your state officials are, please go to the Illinois State Board of Elections.
Find/start a local group
Currently there are local abolitionist groups throughout the state. Please contact the office at info@icadp.org or (312) 673-3816 to find if there is a group near you.
