There are many ways YOU can join the fight to abolish the death penalty in Illinois. Consider these options -- each one is a link with more information:

1) Support the work of ICADP by becoming a member.

2) Circulate petitions calling for the abolition of the death penalty. Print out a petition form here calling on the Illinois State Legislature to pass House Bill 213, which would repeal the death penalty in Illinois.

3) Learn more about the death penalty in Illinois.

4) Organize speaking opportunities for the Coalition in your region.

5) Recruit new members for the Coalition.

6) Distribute alerts/information about upcoming events or important legislative actions to friends and colleagues.

7) Participate in Legislator Educator program.

8) Get your religious organization involved.

9) Become a regular visitor of a Death Row inmate.

10) Become a pen pal of a Death Row inmate.

11) Print out a Declaration of Life form and sign it before witnesses and a Notary Public.
