In Memoriam: Donald Bull

Died September 18, 2002 on death row.

The following was written by Tricia Teater, a Coalition visitor and friend of Donald’s:

Donald was a big guy with a gentleness about him that I liked very much. He found his artistic legs while in prison, and was just beginning to come into his own when he passed away. He enjoyed working with oils and sketching, and was a quick and willing student. Donald particularly liked animals and nature. I remember a recent painting of horses that was dynamite!

As I recall, Donald was a family man. While I never had the opportunity to meet or talk with his family, he was so proud of them and he cared so much. I am sure that his family misses him very much. So do I.
