About ICADP

Founded in 1976, we are a grassroots membership organization committed to educating the public about the flaws and injustices in the Illinois capital punishment system and promoting humane alternatives to the punitive death penalty system.

On this site, you will find many opportunities to get involved in the historic struggle to end the use of the death penalty and a listing of upcoming events and activities. The Coalition is available for speaking engagements and can provide informational materials to your organization.
