Mistakes happen, like when a ninth-inning wrong call from a veteran first base umpire cost Detroit Tigers pitcher Armando Galarraga a perfect game.  That's what Rep. Lou Lang (D-16) told a delegation of ICADP members and coalition partners at his district office last week who were there to ask for his support of HB 5687 to repeal the death penalty.  Our state's death penalty cannot account for human error, no matter how many good reforms we enact.

ICADP now has our own blog where we will be posting about events, legislation, and of course the death penalty as we work towards its repeal.
